A medal ends up in a drawer. A trophy stands on a shelf. We've known this for more than four decades — which is why organisers of runs and tournaments are increasingly choosing trophies over engraved plates.

Why does a trophy make a bigger impression than yet another medal?

A medal is a great award for the mass participant — light, cheap to produce in series and easy to distribute. But a competitor who won their category or finished a demanding mountain race for the tenth time deserves something they can put on display, not just put away. A commemorative trophy fills this gap: its size fits on a desk, its weight and finish say "this was serious", and its form refers to the specific event. Such an award lives for years in the competitor's space — and every year reminds them that it was worth signing up again.

Which events do we handle most often?

We specialise in awards for road races (marathons, half-marathons, 10 km runs), mountain and trail races, triathlons, cycling events and Nordic walking competitions. We work on both prestigious one-off events and recurring races with a long history, where the trophy becomes a recognisable tradition. We are just as happy to design awards for sports tournaments, league finals and end-of-season galas.

How do you plan a series of trophies for an event with many categories?

The most convenient solution is one trophy form with different engraved plates for each category. Alternatively — three sizes corresponding to the podium places: larger for first, smaller for second and third. For events with a large number of age categories, we help plan the whole set so that it works logistically: properly labelled boxes, a prepared presentation plan. Planning starts with a conversation — not with an order spreadsheet.

When is the best time to order before an event?

We recommend getting in touch at least 3 weeks before the presentation date — this allows time for the design, any revisions and production without pressure. With a ready design and a smaller quantity we can go down to 5 working days. Express production in 48 hours is possible, but it's the exception — we prefer to have a buffer so that the trophy looks exactly as approved, not "almost".

Yes — an engraved brass or aluminium plate lets us add a name, category, time or place. With a series order, each trophy can have a unique inscription while keeping an identical form. You can send the engraving data in a spreadsheet — we will prepare each plate separately.
We most often create themed forms that reflect the character of the event: a runner's silhouette at the finish line, an element characteristic of the region or trail, an abstraction inspired by the route. For prestigious events we suggest sculptural forms with the organiser's visual identity. We match the design to the rank of the event.
Yes — the standard solution is one form with different plates. It is also possible to order two or three sizes depending on the podium position. For events with many categories, we help plan the full set so that everything works logistically.
The standard production time is 5–10 working days from design approval. We recommend getting in touch at least 3 weeks before the event. For smaller runs we offer express production in 48–72 hours — contact us with your deadline.
Yes — we make our own wooden boxes with a foam insert cut to the shape of the trophy. We also have other solutions — e.g. cases and gift packaging. Individual packaging increases the perceived value of the award and makes organising the presentation easier. We include the price of packaging in our quote.
Definitely — the logo of the organiser or title sponsor can be incorporated directly into the form of the trophy or placed on an engraved plate. Please send a vector file and the branding guidelines before the design starts.
The minimum order is 1 piece — with no quantity threshold. For runs of more than 50 pieces the unit cost of a trophy drops significantly. Ask for a quote with the planned quantity — we will send you our tiered prices so you can make an informed decision.
